ENTRY-LEVEL PARTS COUNTER POSITION Sleepy Eye Location
Previous retail parts counter and customer service experience a plus.
The Parts Counter Specialist is responsible for duties related to the sale, stocking, receiving, and organization of parts offered by Miller Sellner. Essential duties include:
- Provide a positive internal and external customer experience by promptly answering inquiries and fulfilling their parts needs by phone or walk ins
- Responsible for point of sale invoicing.
- Market other products during customer contact.
- Ensure that products and supplies are secure, properly identified, organized, and readily accessible.
- Assist in shipping, receiving, and stocking store parts and freight as needed.
- Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts, and reconcile results with inventory records.
- Proactively expand product and business knowledge by staying current on relevant industry and product information through self-education and training.
- Able to be on your feet for an extended amount of time and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to work extended hours during peak seasons, including some weekend shifts and on call duties.
- Able to obtain a forklift operator certification.
- Experience working in a successful parts or service department a plus.
